I've been eyeing a Marlin 795 for a while now, since I've heard excellent things about them and they're even cheaper than a Norinco!! By all accounts they seem like an excellent deal, but the thing that's holding me back is the lack of aftermarket parts for them, like cool barrels and hi-cap mags and thumbhole/pistol grip stocks and junk. Does anyone know of cool accessories for these rifles (that are available in Canada, obviously)?

Not much, if any, accessories for the Marlins as of yet. Check the Marlin section of rimfirecentral.com. There was one post I read there where one fellow adapted a laminate stock from a tube fed model 60. Two ways to go, get a 10/22 and then spend same or more on accessories to get it to shoot like a Marlin, or get the Marlin, enjoy it until the after market stuff becomes available. I have both, but its the Marlin that sees most daylight....

BD..

Not a Canadian site but they make Marlin replacement triggers at riflebasix.com. Kind of pricey though. Stock Marlins seem to have a pretty heavy trigger pull, probably around 5 pounds or more.
