So I finally got my scope mounted on my 795 and took it out. I used a cheap Leapers mount. I had to file a slot for the gas fill port to fit low so I could use the low mount. Worked quite well actually.

After sighting in here is my best group at 30 meters. Shooting with CCI blazer. I was kneeling on the ground and shooting from an old farm truck fender that sits on the ground. No bags or fancy rest. She shoots really nice seeing as I'm not the best shot.

Here's the next best.

I really like this setup. I got the gun on sale $139 and paid $159 for the scope. $20 for the mount.
The scope sighted in quick and the target turrets have positive clicks. The parallax and focus adjustments worked really well. It is fairly heavy on this little rifle, but I like the meatier feel the rifle has now. This scope is really nice for the cash.
As for the rifle it was already really accurate with the crappy factory sights. Much nicer now though. Nothing negative to say about this rifle so far. No FTF's or FTF's after about 300 rounds total. The trigger isn't the nicest but after a bit of practice it didn't seem to affect my shooting. I may try a Mcarbo trigger job down the road but for now she stays factory.
