Marlin 795 Before and After

Fit the barrel and action first using a router, then use the planer to cut thickness from both sides., bandsaw for more shaping, Hole saw and spindle sander for thumbhole , Belt and disc sander with coarse 40 grit belt for outside shaping and back edge of thumbhole, then finer belt and final sanding.
First let me say, great work, truly a skilled craftsman, very impressive....
But no offense, I hardly believe that took four hours, from that first pic of the roughed in plywood mold... With fitting the action and barrel, cutting and shaping the thumb hole, shaping and smoothing out the stock body (which looks like a lot of time was involved), staining and/or applying oil finish, and sling studs??! You must have one hell of a wood working shop at home..... CNC, or some sort of improved tooling? Don't tell me you did all that by hand in 4 hours... Lol
Damn fine work though, regardless of time frame....
