Marlin 795 Trigger Mod *UPDATE*

In that video above you can see the scope mount he is using is the UTG Medium Profile for pellet guns. This mount really hangs on to the small groove that Marlin uses on this rifle. Regular scope rings tend to walk off that rail after a while. The UTG prevents that. $15. on Amazon. Definitely worth while.

Bought it, brings the scope too high for my taste. Ended up drilling and tapping now the scope is as low as it can. I did buy the utg dovetail to picatinny and it worked with a dot but had issues with a scope maybe because it's heavier.

Actually you may be right about the scope being too high. That one in the pic may be the UTG High Profile. I have the Medium and the scope just clears the rear sight. I believe they come in Low, Medium and High.

My Mcarbo spring kit arrived in today's mail....$55 Canadian delivered( seems a bit pricey for a few springs, but if it results in a nice trigger,it's worth it,I was ready to sell the gun)

I only dry fired when I got the spring kit but I could tell the difference.
I installed it with the dip trigger kit and for me the whole package, although it costs the price of the rifle, worth it.
It can be pricey for springs like you said but I think it's not that much for what it gives.
Keep us posted on how you like it.
