So i won a marlin 795ss at my last 3 gun(not a bad prize eh) but the damn thing keeps jamming. I've tried winchester 333's, american eagle, cyclones, thunderbolts, subsonic, cci velictators, and minimags. I can rarely get through an entire mag without a jam. anyone have a clue what kinda ammo will work nice in this rifle? or is it the rifle itself?

Have you taken it apart? That's where I'd start, make sure the bolt is sliding freely and there are no tooling marks or burrs inside the action.
Also you didn't mention how it is jamming. Is it ejecting the empties okay? Does it strip off a fresh round and then stovepipe? simply put this sounds mechanical and not ammo related. It will be caused by either the bolt not sliding freely in the action, the spring is too strong, or there could be a problem with the feed lips or the follower in the mag... Or the feed ramp in the rifle. Address those areas and you will likely find your problem.
Whatever the case this serves as a sad reminder that marlins are no longer built by marlin.

the 1st thingi did when i got her home was takeher apart, degreease teh action and remove any visable burrs. then lubed her up nicely and put her back together... perhaps i'll do it again and see if i missed something teh 1st time.
