Hello everyone, I'm looking for advice on a model 80 Marlin I bought. Turns out the rifle has function issues and parts missing.😖 The rifle has problems feeding the round in sometimes, and doesn't extract the round from the chamber. It's missing the butt pad and sight elevation ramp, and has a repaired trigger guard. Where should I look for parts? Thanks for looking, Rob
 
Did some googling, and then adjusted the extractor and mag retaining catch. Some trial and error and now it's feeding and extracting. Still need to find some parts though...
 
I had one that wouldn't feed the round in properly. I cant remeber which screw I tightened, maybe the mag retaining screw, but it fixed the problem. It has to be very tight.
 
Ditto on Western Gun Parts. Try Numrich in the US, they should ship to Canada. I bought one from lgs and it had feed problems. I believe the firing pin was in backwards and now it's the best .22 I own. Feeds shorts perfect for shooting bunnies in the backyard.
