Hi guys, would like to know your opinon on the marlin 917vsf (rifle,caliber,acuracy to what distance)

I have the marlin 17hmr LS.
Out of the box it shot quite well at 100yrds.The trigger was a little heavy for my liking so I switched it with a Rifle Basix trigger.No problem with doing dime size groups a 100yrds.
I shot Gophers out 150 and 200yrds.

You can also modify your trigger with out a trigger kit. I did mine with just one spring and got the trigger down to a nice, crisp, 2 pound pull (or less).
