Was cleaning my 925 the other day and when I went to release the magazine the release must have gone a little far too far and cracked a piece off inside the mag well. Now the release is all loose and wont hold a mag. After that I decided against any further cleaning opting instead for a nice cool beer and some tv to help me relax and let the steam coming from my ears subside. I do not believe I was overly rough on the release and have only had this 22 three months now and received it BNIB and have since put less than 200 rounds through her. So anyone else have similar issues with their Marlins?

dont think they can just send me a part to fix this problem though as it does not appear to just swap out,unfortunately. Am I crazy to think there should be a little more metal in these guns especially in an area where there is bound to be some frequent torquing

yeah that was definitely something that was overlooked and quite the surprise as well.
