Does anyone know where a guy can pick up a big loop lever for the Marlin 1895 straight stock in canada? I've been looking for months and can't find anyone who will send one accross the border, i know lots of guys on here have pics with them on their rifles, i'm starting to get really frustrated. Thanks for any help.

The only place I know of in the US who will ship the lever to you is Numrich Gun parts. Only thing is I'm not to fussy on the look of it.

Might look better when it's on the gun though. Other then that I don't really know anywhere in Canada who has them.
I had bought a Large loop from them last year and it shipped no problems, they make you pay around $35 to ship it up here, but atleast they send this stuff to Canada no problem.

I think there was a shop in Fort Saint John BC that used to bring in Wild West parts out of Alaska. Maybe email wildwestguns and see if he's still their Canadain dealer. This getting aftermarket stuff for marlins is becoming a big headache. Iam looking for a XS scout scope rail and laminated stocks for mine. Let us know how you make out.

Yeah that was Backcountry sports in FSJ, i already tried them. Also talked to Corlanes in Dawson Creek and they said that they didn't have any and that they would just order them in from Western in Edmonton, who i already called and was told that they didn't have any.

Lambtip, if you join up on the Marlin Owners Fourm there is a guy custom making large loops for any Marlin lever gun. I have a pm off to him, but I know once our moose and deer season is done I'm going to looking at order one from him. He is under the Muleman Loops section.

I'd sell a regular lever from a straight grip '95 if there was interest, I'm not really trying to sell or make money just help someone out, i put one on from Brownells a few years ago, it really saved my cold hands under heavy recoil......Ben

Thanks BigJake, i checked out the marlin owners website and i guess that is the only option right now. As far as doing it myself goes, i don't own a welder or have the skills it would take to do it and have it look half decent.
