Do these ever show up in Canada? I would love to get a 9mm carbine for plinking and small game. Everything on the market is tactical style. Marlin camp 9 looks pretty cool with the wood stock. I wish someone would make a bolt action or semi in a more hunting rifle style. Am I the only one? Perhaps there are other rifles like this that I’m unaware of... Not crazy about the pc9, sub 2k and tsw asr are too tactical looking for my likes, kriss vector is ridiculous and overpriced. I’d love to find a camp 9. Not sure of barrel length and so on..
Maybe a lever action 9mm?

They are cool. I think Rare. Love the pistol caliber rifles. marlin 1894 (.44 mag), ruger 96/44 (.44 mag), ruger carbine (.44 mag), ruger 77/44 (.44 mag).....You get the idea.

They do show up but they are few and far between. I’ve been looking for one for a while. If you you do find one prepare for sticker shock. I wish they would make the old 44 mag or 357 mag semi auto with no protruding magazine. A nice simple clean lined carbine.

The new Ruger once they get the longer barrel going is about as good as it's going to get for you...... maybe you could mill out some panels and dress it up like an 80's station wagon..... :)

If you’re looking for that traditional hunting gun look and are not set on 9mm, check out the Marlin 1894 line in 357/38 special. Otherwise the Ruger PC9 will be your closest option when it becomes available here.

I was in the same boat you were at one point. I ended up with a Beretta CX4 to satisfy my 9mm carbine itch (great gun) and a few Marlin’s (even better guns).

An original Marlin Camp 9 will be restricted (if you can find one) due to barrel length.

There will.be after market wood available for the new Ruger, they went with plastic like everyone else does for cost savings.

I have been in the market for a 9mm carbine for a while and finally pulled the trigger on the non-restricted freedom ordinance fx-9. pre ordered, supposed to arrive in June, $899. Built similar to an AR (upper and lower). Built from the ground up as a 9mm not a retro fit of another calibre. Has been in the US for a while and has great reviews.
Anyone handled one yet?

I wondered about barrel length on the camp 9. Being restricted would make it not worth owning.. (to me). The cx4 storm looks ok and well built. I think if a canadian nr pc9 was available with a wood stock I would maybe giver a try.

Not exactly the same but a 9mm carbine. I have a Spanish Destroyer bolt action in 9mm Largo that I used to shoot a lot. Good accuracy with 120 gr cast bullets. Kind of a handloading only project. Used shortened 9mm Win Mag brass. Tried Largo brass from Starline but it was too short for my rifle. Extractor would ride up out of groove causing FTE. I have read about these rifles being re chambered to 9 mm Luger by turning the barrel in one thread and re chambering. Kind of a fun plinker if you like military looking pistol caliber bolt guns.

I was having the same dilemma and came across this little beauty, that is fast becoming a favourite. 9mm, 1911 mags, unrestricted. If you can find one so far after a couple hundred rounds so good. PPK Brno 619 is the falvour and seems to be a company that bought up a bunch of Brno tooling. Other than a 16mm groove on the receiver it is an excellent gun that fit the bill perfectly. Bonus is it will shoot fist sized groups, freehand and 50 yds
