Howdy guys

I am wondering if Marlin ever made the 1894 Cowboy in 44 magnum with a 24" octagonal barrel. As far as I can see the 1894s were only made in 20" barrels but maybe someone has seen a 24" octagonal barrel.

I know about the 26" 1895 in 45-70, but I need to know about the 1894 in 44 mag

Thanks

Not sure if they ever made one in 44 mag but I think they did.

Here's a Cowboy Ltd. in 44 Magnum/Special with 24" octagonal barrel. This is not my rifle, I grabbed the picture off of gunbroker, so I won't take responsibility for the choice of scope! :)

Very nice rifle, I didn't think that they would have made that as it isn't a "cowboy cal.", in the modern sense, although completely legal for CAS. It would make a good brother for my '95 Cowboy 45/70.
