Marlin guide gun stock swap

Does anyone know of an aftermarket stock set thats not so bulky in the forend? Boyds has one I believe. Pics would be great from thise of you that have already swapped stocks

I ordered the Boyd's stock and had a gunsmith install it. Fit was worse than the factory stock

Was the forearm as bulky as the original?

I clamped a belt sander to a table upside down. Added bonus for me was getting rid of factory checkering.
Scribe with pencil where receiver and fore end tip mate with wood for reference. Buttstock took more time, hard rubber sanding block and patience. A little stain and some polymerized tung oil.

Treebone carving offers nice marlin stocks but you have to fit and finish yourself. You can go mild to WILD with his stuff
