hi ranger---glad too hear you still love the GG!!:cool: ...can you tell more about the kodiak?...have you shot anything with it??..some say its the "missing link" between hard cast and the expanding bullet!!...larry:)

2 bullets in the barrel at one time. the front one wasn't moving and the rear one was hauling a$$ and the picture may be equal parts Marlin and Winchester. BL

Riverhunter, I just got them over the winter. I bought them off Ebay, and got 150. I just loaded 50 up with 48 grains of RL-7, one more grain than the Hornady's. Will see if fall bear will co-operate, as Jae-Bok's hard cast goes through my full sized 1895 SS for moose.
The 1895G gets the jacketed for deer, bear and perhaps a close quarters moose shooter!!

Looks like the bolt lock is there, but the hammer is not.........Looks like a guy may have come out, unscathed..........Not bad for a 100+ year old design.

Just glad it wasnt me.
