where is the JM stamp located ? im looking at a .357 marlin supposedly 15 years old thanks

On the barrel, just in front of the receiver.

What model of rifle is it and how much is being asked?

It's sometimes hidden by the forestock.

The JM stamp can sometimes be quite faint and almost like a nick in the barrel... here are some examples:

... and this is a first for me, but it can sometimes be on the right side --- typically this is where the REP marking is for a Remlin:

Not all of the JM rifles were created equal. QC over the last two years of production from the original facility were very subpar comparing to the older stuff.
