Marlin model 27s in 25/20

From the Standard Catalog of Firearms: Model 27 Slide-action rifle. This is a centerfire rifle chambered for the .25-20 and .32-20 cartridges. Also chambered for the .25 rimfire cartridge. It features a 24" octagonal barrel with a 2/3's-length magazine tube that holds 7 shots. It has open sights, a blued finish and straight walnut stock with crescent buttplate. It was manufactured from 1910 to 1916.
Model 27S: ...similar to the Model 27 with a sliding button on the right side of the receiver that permitted the gun to be opened while a cartridge was in the chamber. It was offered with a round (1913) or octagonal 24" barrel. This model was introduced in 1910 and was manufactured until 1932.
Value: excellent = $375, VG = $300. Good = $175.
As to parts: you could ask at Ellwood Epps or put a wanted ad in the EE.

Thanks for the info. I have tried Ellwood and Western gun parts and the EE along with many others. Even tried a few places in the states but most of them don't seem to eager to work with a canook. Surely there are more of these 27S marlins out there somewhere.

I had one years back in decent shape other than the mag tube being fooked.
Took it to my local smith and it sat there for over a year.
I got flustered with it and sold it.
Next local gun show was a complete mag tube assembly I needed.
Parts are hard to find, at least the mag tube assembly.
Common wear on these things.
