Recently got playing around with an old marlin model 995 I inherited from my uncle. Recently picked up a really nice 4-16x40 airgun scope for cheap and was thinking of throwing it on my .22 for an experiment and a little bit of fun. Was wondering if anyone here has ever mounted a scope on a model 995? From what I've read online is you can use 3/8s scope mount with rings for air rifles and rim fire rifles and ive also seen a sort of adapter to go from 3/8s weaver? Mount to a picatinny rail.
