Marlin No. 20 pump rifle

Just came across one of these little rifles. There is a fair bit of info, some conflicting, on the 'net. Does anyone have one? Can anyone shed light on this rifle? Feel free to add your opinion, experience or favorite source of info.

I will post pics later on, as I don't have the rifle in my hand at the moment.

I had one pass through when I had pump mania.

Not the best example of it's kind. It came in a project gun, and one of the few that left that way too. A fellow CGNer helped me with some parts (a complete "back half") so I could fire it. The magazine was never truly functional, and of a style that I thank God Marlin improved upon.

Here we go. I took a few pics. Note the butt plate isn't a simple crescent. At each end it starts to curve back towards the rifle. The barrel is a wee bit better than 22 1/2". This one isn't museum quality.
