i know this may have been discussed here before but the search function sucks b@llz.

For any of you who own a newer Marlin that has the T-900 trigger/sear/fire controll whatever, you probably find the trigger pull a little on the heavy side yeah?

Try this;
if you are competant and have some small needlenose pliers, a screwdriver, and a little tinkering ability, remove the stock from the gun, next remove the clips that hold the pins in the T-900,( it's been awhile since i've done this so bear with me) remove the small spring toward the back of the trigger mechanism.
Swap it out for a spring removed from a papermate retractable pen, reinstall the necessary pin(s) & clips.

This trick brought my trigger pull weight down from nearly 6lbs to a little under 2lbs.

This trick also works great on the import Chinese import air rifles. I bought one for my nephew and it was so hard the gun almost needed a 20 LB hammer to set off the trigger. Took it to my friend who is the local Air gun repairman for our area, and it was scary of how light the trigger is now!!! Dale in T-Bay
