I picked up a Marlin 36G 30-30 at the Kamloops show. What I see makes me think this is the forerunner to the 336. Anybody know anything about this rifle? Has a plastic butt plate but that could be recent too. Looks pretty much just like the 336. Nice little gun, good barrel and price was really right.
