Who has one, and is it a good shotgun? It seems to be a pretty nice shotgun, although I have not seen one up close and personal, the closest I came is an old Marlin 12 gauge bolt action the other day that had a nice smooth action (at least dry cycling it anyways, compared to a Mossberg 395K I compared it to.) One thing I noticed about the Mossberg is that it had nice claw type extractors as opposed to the Marlin, which is sort of a clip on spring type affair with not much of an extractor. Please post some pics of your bolt action 'swamp guns' :D and Happy New Year! :)

The best bolt action ever made was produced by Browning and it was a slug gun. Deadly accurate. Anything else was just funny.

I have to agree Browning does make a very fine bolt action shotgun however, Tar-Hunt should not be overlook as well they now makes the 20 gauge version too bad neither of them is within my price range :(

I am going in the direction of reverse snobbery wrt my firearms tastes, I like the bolt action shotgun as they are 'unwanted orphan' guns. They must be safe to shoot as there are barely any recalls on them, of course there aren't too many made right now. I seen a Lakefield Mossberg 395K the other day and it was barely used; (although it was butt-ugly), :D the woodwork was the only thing beat up about it. Maybe the owner was too embarassed to hunt with it lol. :D Best regards all. :)
