Marlin Tuner ?

Who would you recommend in Canada to tune a Marlin 45-70 JM that has feeding problems.I thought it was the magazine spring .Perhaps the previous owner stored it loaded but upon taking it apart and giving it a gentle stretching it is no better.The shell in the tube comes 7/8 out onto the lifter/carrier and sits there locking up the action. It can be nudged with a screwdriver behind the rim and it pops into place only to do the same next round.Not keen on Remlin parts replacement.......Harold

Turns out it was a bent loading gate along with getting the carrier polished.........Harold

Went to a semi- retired gunsmith and he monkeyed with it..................back in the saddle again.Harold

I was all quick n' ready to suggest leaving a magazine loaded shouldn't harm it's spring...
