there's been several threads on these rifles. great rifles and may actually be a better value than the stevens 200. accuracy is very good, has the marlin version of the 'accutrigger' and fit and finish is far better than a stevens.
do a search and you should find a couple of threads about this rifle. i own one and love it. i would love to pick up another in a laminate stock but i'll have to wait a bit since my wife is having our second child in two weeks... mine is a 30/06 with black synth stock. under 1" @ 100yrds when using a bench. trigger is smooth with no creep. the only thing that could be a pain in the a$$ is that to adjust the trigger wt, you have to remove the action from the stock to adjust. never tried it, i find it perfect the way it came.
