guys, doing a bit of late night research, filling the memory bank full of handy firearm facts

Seeing theres been a few issues with the Bases, maybe being a bit "wonky" an rings needing shimming to align up!

Has anyone found this to be an issue with their XS/XL Rifle?

Also, roumer has it, Bolts are interchangable with Savage??

I use the factory base on my XS-7 and have never had any issues with it! Actually this is the first I've heard of them? Worst case scenario, you swap out the one-piece base that comes with the rifles for a couple of weavers, probably set you back about $10.

Also, have not hear that about the bolts....good rifles though!

apparently the one piece base solved the problem for the guys.
the rifles came with 2 piece bases

hmm...I bought mine right when they first came out and it was a one piece! Must have been changed somewhere along the line?

This isnt for Canada, These particular rifles were sold in New Zealand... Could be something to do with that

Mine was a one piece base too. Biggest issue was freefloating it to see if it would get more accurate. Needed to take a surprising amount of material out of that stock to float it. Would be nice to have a drop plate on it too. Great features and accuracy for a very low price rifle.
