Marlin xs7 Q

Just a quick one, regarding the scope mount options for the XS7, Can only the Bridge mount type base be used? or can it be set up with normal scope rings an bases?

Good question ....

Weaver does not show bases for the X7, but Tally does show LW bases for the XL7. I'm sure they would fit on an XS7. I'd call Marlin to see what Weaver if any would fit and/orTalley to see if the XL7 LW set will fit the XS7.

I've had a couple Marlins with the 1pc base and found they worked great. They offer a lot of flexibility for scope location. I'm not switching mine out based on that.

Sure do. I asked that question to leupold a few years ago and they came back with
The Marlin uses the same bases as the Winchester 70. Use
50020 in gloss or 50021 in matte.

The Stevens 200 uses the same bases as the Savage with accutrigger. Use 55741 in gloss or 55742 in matte.
