I have been looking fore a good, accurate(not crazy accurate but 1 inch groups at 50 yards would make me happy)bolt 22.I of course found the marlin Xt-22's and have been wondering if they are any good or if not so pecfect, then some of the issues with them?
Thanks,
Hunter.

Not personal experience, but i have read a lot of good things about them. Marlins will typically shoot much better than 1" at 50m also. It looks like a great deal for the price.

Not a whole lot of activity on this thread eh? are people just not buying these rifles or what?
they seem like a pretty good little rifle and I know the older marling where well liked.are these just the same rifle with a few new additions like the pro fire trigger?
Thanks,
Hunter.

I bought the XT17V and I love the damn thing....Really Really accurate..and the profire trigger feels identical to the Savage Accutrigger! and the price was amazing

look into the Savage Mark II as well. Very solid gun for roughly the same price. I'm sure the Marlin is fine too, but from my experience the Savage is everything I wanted right out the box; grab a Bushnell or Simmons 3-9X scope and you're laughing:]

I have a Savage Mark II FV-SR as well and there both nice rifles. As for the barrels the Marlin Bull Barrel is thicker! But there both very accurate.
