im having a persistent issue with my marlin xt22. i ran into this before, but after changing from el cheapo win super x ammo to federal it subsided, now showing its head again.
i have an issue with the rounds catching each other in the magazine while cycling the bolt. a very frustrating issue as i need to drop the mag, load the round thats on the bolt then put the mag back in. the second issue is a FTE, ive cleaned the bolt face, extractor spring, extractor socket and made sure i didnt have any excess oil sitting in the barrel. the FTE happens about 1-2 times per 7 rds. sometimes it can be fixed by dropping the mag and recycling bolt, other times i need to flick it out with my finger nail.
any suggestions on areas i should check, or tips / tricks i can try to make it better.
