Marlin's new XT-22 rifles, any feedback?

Are any of you guys using one of the new XT-22 series bolt actioned rifles from marlin (remlin) in .22lr?
If so , how about some feedback and your impressions, fit&finish, accuracy, reliability etc

I bought one about 4 months ago from Lebaron. Great firearm for the money. About 400 rounds through her and not one problem. Fit, finish and overall quality was impressive for a sub $200 22 bolt gun. I would recommend this rifle to anyone.
 
I have an XT22 stainless/tubefed model, bought new in August of last year. No problems at all, best accuracy so far with Winchester Subsonic HP.
 
I have the XT-22 TR. Pretty decent for the money. The micro groove rifling is shallower than standard type rifling: Use standard or subsonic velocity cartridges.

If you have hex head bolts securing the action to the stock (some rifles come with flat head type bolt), the wrench size is 9/64. You'll also need a 3/32 hex wrench to adjust the trigger pull weight (if you intend to do that).

You guys mind sharing where you got your tube magazine models from , my next one will be tube fed if this one works out

I have not been able to source either a Marlin XT-22TR or my other desired rifle, a Henry Octagonal Frontier.
Last fall it took me DAYS to find the most common rifle in the world, a Ruger 10/22. Everyone had the "take down" version, which was not what I wanted.

I have searched the forum for one, but does anyone know if there is a place where we can put in "requests" about what dealer has what firearms IN STOCK?

My LGS, in Dartmouth, requires a 25% deposit (fair), charges a 10% restocking fee on cancelled orders (also fair)....but then, has no time limit on how long you should expect to wait (VERY UNFAIR!). Nor will they "check" with their supplier until you place the order - Better Buy, my arse.

Where the heck are all the &%^&*& 22 rifles in this country??

I hear you, I wanted the XT-22VR but had to settle for the base XT-22, just as well I suppose as I'll take wood over injection molded plastic any day of the week .
I find it a bit odd that the tube fed magazine has fallen from favour it seems, rifle sure carries better with one and with 12-14 in the mag you dont need a pocket full of bullets.
 
Good to see they are getting decent reviews, might try a ss tube feed maybe, and trade off my mossy plinkster.

Anyone happen to see a XT-22YSR ( ss/syn youth model ) ? looking for one for my kid, only found the wood/blue listed on EPPS so far, thx
 
This was my first rifle when i started last year still my favorite to shoot
nail driver accurate impresses anyone i let try it out
you will be very pleased ,also a tip the marlin 10 round mags for the 795
are compatible i have both and a mess a mags i use on both a lot handier than the standard
7 round mag it comes with
