Marlin's new XT-22 rifles, any feedback?

Well it's good to hear the quality is still there even though Marlin is now Remlin. Or has the production of the XTs not been moved over yet?

I have not been able to source either a Marlin XT-22TR or my other desired rifle, a Henry Octagonal Frontier.
Last fall it took me DAYS to find the most common rifle in the world, a Ruger 10/22. Everyone had the "take down" version, which was not what I wanted.

I have searched the forum for one, but does anyone know if there is a place where we can put in "requests" about what dealer has what firearms IN STOCK?

My LGS, in Dartmouth, requires a 25% deposit (fair), charges a 10% restocking fee on cancelled orders (also fair)....but then, has no time limit on how long you should expect to wait (VERY UNFAIR!). Nor will they "check" with their supplier until you place the order - Better Buy, my arse.

Just like 2009, after he won his first term, massive hoarding drove up prices of center fire ammo and components. People then turned to rimfire for more economical shooting, which in turns drives their prices up and availability down.

Mine is a clip fed .22wmr with hardwood stock.I wonder about the availability of synthetic replacement stocks to save the wood one?

Those odd looking Boyd's ss evolution stocks are starting to grow on me.Are they lighter than the factory hardwood?

Where can one look at these these online? I can only find them on ellwood epps and they only list a couple.
