I will be joining a few guys next week for a duck hunt. It was suggested to bring a marsh chair. A quick google search showed me what I'm after. Anyone here have a simple DIY chair I can knock out in a couple hours (or minutes would be better) that they find comfortable?

Just need something light, easily portable and comfortable, but for me ill just sit on the ground or a near by log or tree. Makes it a pain to haul something else on top of gun, ammo and decoys all out without making a million trips.

Depending on how deep the water is, I have used a piece of 2x2. A couple metal brackets and a small section of 2x6. Cheap and easy.
If there is very little water or just mud/grass, I'm with the 5 gallon pail guys. Blind bag and seat in one! If you want to make it fancy splurge on a spin-seat. If the water is deeper you might need to go with something else though, or every time you stand up your bucket will tip and float away.
