I ordered an NP-29 from Marstar May 31.

I just called them today June 7 and they said that the transfer would take at least 2 more weeks?

WTF? Is this normal for CFC now? Maybe we should hire more people for miramichi?

Have they gone into a deliberate slowdown or is this normal?

I would think that with the CFC's multi million dollar computer, they should be able to transfer this new handgun to me more quickly than this. i have owned handguns since 1985 so I should be pretty easy to check up on.

This wait time is pathetic. What are CFC doing? Writing on the data down on Rolodex cards and then doing manual searches?

No wonder criminals with short attention spans buy their guns on the street. They get better service!

I transferred a pistol that took 2 days & an AR lower that took almost a month. You can never tell. I guess it just depends on if the employees feel like working or not

Odds are that they are including the time it will take to initially register the guns with the CFC, so they can start the transfer - that usually takes a minimum of a week.

Bought a pistol in MB, 2 days to transfert to Qc...
It shouldn't take longer than this, it take MAX a few hours to look at things.

I just spoke to the CFC. They just approved the transfer so Marstar should be able to ship tomorrow.

I withdraw all of my beefs and complaints regarding this transfer.

I ordered an NP22 from Marstar may 22 and I was told they shipped it yesterday. So today I went over to the Orillia CFO office and picked up my transfer paper.

so hopefuly I will get my new gun tomorrow. Who does Marstar use for shipping?
