marstar 70,000/10,000 SKS, eta aug 20th, price $189 new military.

WELL NOW we returmed to the cold last night.... Good to be back....

Lets be very clear on this, again
WE BOUGHT 70,000 mixed bag of SKS rifles, most are used, from numerous producers, in all possible conditions from almost new to awful.... Many are likle to come to Canada, many will not.

WE ALSO BOUGHT 10,000 brand new, SKS rifles fom one military producer, 1950s and 1960s vintage ....

TWO different lots, two different deals, obviously two different pricing schedules....

JOHN

With all these SKS's landing in Canada, Is there going to be a supply of cheap AMMO around to feed them?

If its not too much to ask do you mind to give us some hints on price range from what upto where?

Thanks

I doubt he can make a guess till they actually show up in Canada.
I mean if he says $100 a rifle, and s**t happens and he has to charge $200, it doesn't look good on him. So better to keep hush about it until such things are certain.

I only read first 5 pages or so...

I NEVER saw the appeal of SKS or any other old cheap surplus guns. but if the price is right (~$100) I might have to get one just to mess around with it.

I know this will come as a shock to you BUT Marstar does have to turn a profit, we do have an overhead, we do have employees, both here and off-shore.... etc, etc

"Because he is not talking numbers, he is trying to sell as many as possible to other markets first. "
Do you have any idea what you are talking about ??
Please stop trying to second guess every move we make.... What are you trying to say....
Of course some will be sold off shore, but as I have said many times, first and foremost we take care of our Canadian customers....
Whateevr we cannot sell in Canada we sell tou foreign distributor/customers....

If you want to be sure they all come to Canada we would be pleased to offer you the entire lot in both cases....
John

John, everyone here in Canada is extremely thankful for your continued support of the Canadian gun community. You just have to ignore all the posters here that flex their Internet Muscles. (because it's the only one they have)

Looking forward to grabbing a pile of these SKS's!

Hey John, thank you for your efforts in bringing in some more SKS's into Canada. I think people will complain if you were gving them for free. Hopefully in the batches you're importing into Canada there will be types not ordinarlly seen and good for collecting.

You don't have to reply to everything I say, in fact, all what you say above doesn't nullify my statements.

Just ignore my comments next time you don't like it. FYI, this is not posted in your forum.

You have no idea what you're talking about.

Yes, john is in this to make a profit, he runs a business!

That being said, he's contributed more to the firearms community than you could in 100 lifetimes. Marstar has been bringing in affordable and quality firearms since 1985.

The reason he's not giving specifics is because if he says it'll be $125 for an SKS, and some S#!t happens, and they end up being $150, he'll get flak he doesn't deserve.

It's comments like yours that discourage great guys like him from trying to get us great deals. So, FYI it doesn't matter where you post your crap, there will always be guys who (rightfully) flame you for it.

I bid you a good day.

Ima only buy onez if mags are pinned with white rhinoceros horn glue, if the stocks are ivory, if they're sub-100, uber-mint condition, coated in peacock feathers, and John hand delivers it personally, with a crate of ammo or 12 included. And only if I can buy it tomorrow and have it delivered yesterday. But probably not 'cos SKS ain't my thing. What are surplus guns good for, newayz?

 some of you guys crack me up

So you seems to have a different set of opinion than most of us here so what type of firearm(s) will catch your attention and you will shell out your hard earn dollars?

Sorry I was not aware that I required special permission to address comments made about myself or my company....

Perhaps you would be kind enough to direct me to the authority which issues such permissions "comrade" ?

Have I violated a policy of the truth police in this case....??

When They Get here, They get here, If they get here.

I do not understand why the vendors have to release the information that they are getting a certain product when they do not actually have the product. Have the product in your possession and then announce what you have and how much. Look what happened to the Type 97 sitting in a warehouse till the end of time...................
