Marstar has .308 Norinco comming

It works like any other surplus. Not a very good deal IMO but it's better than $1 a round for SA surplus. I spent the extra couple hundred and bought PMC. When I am done I will have brass to reload instead of steel casings to throw out.

"...What does PMC stand for?..." Precision Made Cartridges. Owned by Poongsan Corporation. They're a huge Korean corporation that makes all kinds of stuff from ferrous and non-ferrous metal products to precision dies, guages and tools. They make propellants(gun powder) for everything from 5.56mm ammo up to and including 120mm anti-tank ammo.
Have a look here. http://www.poongsan.co.kr/eng/main/
"...He was the guy in charge of the JR's mess..." President of the Mess Committee. Also Penetang-Midland Coachlines. AKA: Poor Man's Coachlines, at one time. Hasn't been that for a very long time though.

Looks like a good price. By the case. Anyone know how the Norinco ammo works?

The copper-washed steel case stuff I've used before. It works fine...but $495./1000 for berdan primed .308 is not my idea of a good price, either.

The norinco 308 isn't bad ammo. Have been shooting it through my m14s norinos and polytech's for years. The original price was $89.00/1000. bought 1000's of rounds for use....

LEONIDAS;

Since you have all the answers and obviously the sources.... I will gladly pay you $89./1000 + 10% finders fee....

Put me down for 20 million rds.

John

I think no mater the cost it is what it is, we need to be happy that dealers like Marstar bring ammo in. Its a pain to import I bet and there;s not many people doing it.

Yup he's doing it as a personal favour for us gunutz.
