Well, that s all well and good, but the real question is: Does John still have any financial interest in the company? Is he involved in any way, either as a behind the scenes employee, paid or unpaid 3rd party consultant, etc?

Bottom line: is his involvement completely severed?

Yup and how many of the employees knew they were selling fraudulent rifles.

Respectfully, I'd also like answers to these questions.

Good to know. My first rifles and pistols in Canada were from Marstar.
O, Lord, they are still in my safe:)
Welcome back, guys!

Glad your back. people make mistakes in life. Everyone shouldnt have to suffer because of it.

I have bought from Marstar before & had no issues.

M1akid, Deathrawt, drill702, Loosethoughts, pileggi, BadLieutenant, dmazay, lone ranger, David L. glad to be back, thank you.

caramel, just make sure to select 'pickup at Marstar' during checkout, it will remove any shipping fees and we'll know to give you a call, or expect a call to schedule the pickup.

Light Infantry; John has sold the company, and is no longer involved in the management or day-to-day operation. He provides advice related to international import/export red-tape. We do host John's vault, which sells some of his personal items as part of an agreement.

I do speak with him directly and ask for his opinion on some issues, since he does have a lot of time in the industry, and knows a lot more about our contacts than I do at this time. The decisions being made are ultimately ours and you can hold me accountable.

I hope you understand that I can't definitively answer your question as a yes or a no, but I'm happy to give you the information I have and let you make up your own mind.

coleman, I couldn't tell you. I joined Marstar after that happened, and we've cleaned house since.

RadMan, I'm happy to answer respectful questions to the best of my knowledge.

yomomma, We considered doing a sale but decided against it. We made the decision that having a "Marstar is back on CGN sale" would devalue the meaning of an apology.

Fat Mango, our contacts there say that our current 1897s are going to be the last of the lot, though personally, I wouldn't be surprised if more surfaced in the next 5-7 years.

Wolverine, Thank you.

John St Amour was a good intended individual back in the 90's and 2000's when he brought in actual hard to get surplus. It's a shame he became crass and intended to fight the community with shoddy products near when he retired, but he still gets props from me.

Anyway, heres to new beginnings.

I'm glad your here. Recently bought the norinco Olympia from you, and a tt33 before that. Both transactions went smooth, with great communication, and timely shipping! Waiting for a sale on the nz85 and I'll be buying that as well!

I'm a firm believer that one man should not have to redeem himself for another man's transgressions. You guys are starting with a clean slate. Give it a little time and I'm sure we'd all like a sale. Sales are good. Who doesn't like a sale...

These guys are awesome! Not too long they hand delivered my order to my door! As I live in the next town from them. That was pretty outstanding for me. Welcome back!

dealt with marstar since before I joined CGN and it was thru those dealings that I was directed to this site back in 2006.
Stuck with them after the big raids back in the day and instead of folding under all that pressure, marstar came out swinging. Was impressive to see.
the T2 thing was a crappy thing tho.

good to see new blood carrying the torch forward and wish John well as he transitions to retirement.
I'll continue to be a customer when I'm in need ;)
