Marstar is now on facebook!

Was just concidering closing my account with facebook the other day... privacy will be mine!

Ok - just deactivated my account for a little semi-permanent hiatus... one step away from actually deleting the whole thing... and I'm feeling free already!

Not a troll, just the truth.

"how about updating your website to coincide with the century we are living in. :p "

Would welcome your suggestions , exactly what would you like ??
John

My few suggestion:
1: Allow to filter what is not in stock, and display only in stock items
2: Search
3: Better browsing of items, tree structure browsing, narrow down based on factory, item type, price, etc.
4: Electronic order request with confirmation and electronic status update of the order, payment processing, etc.
5: Creating relation between items, parts to the firearm they belong

i can think of more, but these are the most annoying ones for me

I agree with wolf, I wouldnt go as far as a total overhaul but I do run into a lot of brick walls when I browse around the site.

The search function is key.

Also what wolf said about relating accessories to the actual firearms they relate to would be awesome.

Agreed. Having related accessories would be good and would benifit new firearm owners alot as they might not know the accessories available.

Of course the bad part is you need a full time website/DB employee

John, re; website, I have been checking constantly for .45acp ammo and it has shown sold out forever. I don't know if this is the case or no one is updating the site. Same with a couple holsters I have been watching for. An "updated on" at the main or top of page would answer this for me. (I know... a phonecall would also give me an answer too).

Regarding the .45 ammo, we ordered a very large quantitty for 2010 from Winchester, they sent us 50,000 rds it was sol in a few days....

Holster questions, call us 1-888-744-0066

Wow! Well, good for you I guess :) Business-wise. There-in lies my point about the "updated on". If it had the last updated date of a week ago for instance I would know it was a matter of actually being sold out instead of me thinking someone just hasn't updated the site for a long time. Every couple weeks or so would be a sufficient update I would think. Thanks for letting me know about the .45 Now, do you expect more or is there a limit to what you can order/rec in a year? I'm unfamiliar with how it all works so...

All of these above + a New In stock filter rather than having to go through all the various links to find the items you want to buy.
