Has anybody used the NcStar red dot sights sold by Marstar?

I'm looking for an inexpensive scope for a revolver. I shoot at an indoor range, so it doesn't need to be good out to 200 yards or anything, just something to help me aim without using the iron sights.

I like to test out different handloads, but I find it difficult to aim consistently just using the iron sights. I'm not sure if the inaccuracies are due to the ammo, or my failure to aim.

Thanks!

I would suggest a Burris FastFire if they make a mount for your gun. It's a much lower profile than a tube style red dot. About $200 -$250 - with MUCH higher resale value than any NcStar product.

If you try it, and don't like it, you can resell the burris and probably be out less net cash than if you had bought the NcStar (which is next to worthless on the used market).

Just my opinion... welcome aboard!

Thanks! Glad to be here. :)

They don't seem to make a compatible mount, plus, $250 was a lot more than I was looking to spend.
Is a $250 scope really 5 times better than a $50 one? Where is the difference in quality evident? (retaining it's calibration, clarity, ease of use...etc)
