Marstar: No More M-14 Orders

Marstar Canada is NOT taking any new orders for M14S Rifles.

We are proceding with the back orders that we have and will get any 'finalized' orders out as soon as we can.

We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding while we process this huge numbers of transfers as fast as our staff can.

Oh well...I was tossing around the idea of ordering 6 of them and then sitting on them untouched to resell in a few years...(capitalistic dog that I am) Guess I'm to late. :(

I've phoned Dec 24th and again on Thur to enquire about my order and no one answered the phone at Marstar. I'll just wait til the new year to call, Johnone DID say they were off the week of xmas in another thread.
I'm just praying my Nov 16th ordered was confirmed. All I got was an email Nov19th thanking me for my order. Haven't seen any charge on my credit card yet.
 
From what I saw in another thread, they should be getting close to shipping those mid-november orders.

They also didn't say that their supply has run out...just that they have too many back orders.

I wonder where they are in terms of selling through their current shipment, and in terms of having enough demans to sell the next two containers full. Oh well. I'm pretty confident that I'll get my two during January.:)

6? dont forget to add "greedy" to your capitalistic dog .:p

im happy with two . i ordered one in nov 2nd then up it to two on the nov 16th , apparently that bumped me to the back of the line. thats OK cos i went and bot two other rifles to fill the craving.:D

Sheesh....you buy two from Marstar and two from someone else and you call ME greedy? :D rofl.
 
I'm kind of glad they did this to catch up. I placed my order within the first three days of them taking names - way back in early May I think. I confirmed my order in early November and again in mid December and I still don't have it. When I first heard that the old orders would go through first I was pretty sure that meant me; apparently not.

I have to admit that the indexing issue did give me pause for a little bit...but I didn't consider cancelling. Given that it's an adjustment issue, and I purchased knowing that tinkering was going to be part of the game, I'm not all that concerned.

The other thing is that time constraints will probably result in one or both of my Norcs going to a gunsmith that deals with M14's for unitizing/tweaking/trim to 18.6"/etc. I would wager that checking the barrel indexing would be a very slight cost addition when I'm already getting work done.

no bud, the other two are not M14s , one was a used 700P and the other was a SKS-D, santas been good to me, ;).

yeah , i dont mind paying for the M14s in the new year.

hi G, did you order two M14s way back? cos i know emmab who ordered one on nov the 14th was told his is in the mail.
 
700P...Is that a Remington? I've been tossing the idea of another bolt gun in
.223. I've heard guys talkin good stuff about Remingtons but I've been looking at the Savage 12FV due to the accutrigger.
Not wanting to go off topic here...just a fast question.

right you are, its the 308 26 " barrel , i got to check the pull on the trigger cos after arm wrestling with the sks-d , i barely touched the trigger of the 700P and off it went.

No, just the one I ordered way back in May. It's my "extra" M14 to be honest; I did want to get two "extras" but with a bouncing baby boy and the wife off work, I really couldn't get two.

Maybe check the Marstar website?

"Marstar's Holiday Schedule: Marstar Canada will be closed for Christmas Holidays on the 22nd of December and will re-open on the 2nd of January. We wish you a safe and merry Christmas."
