Saw it in the new NFA magazine.

It's a Norinco 1911 in .40S&W!

Anyone know anything about it? Just says coming soon!

You can't use the words, "Marstar", "Norinco" and "Coming soon" in the same paragraph. I think it may even be illegal to use those three words on the same page!

I am only poking fun at ya John! I imagine importing Chinese firearms, or any "firearms" into Canada is logistically challenging!

Now let's all phone John and ask him where the fricking boat is at????

1911 in .40 S&W

If it's a single stack & the same quality as the last batch of NP-29, 9mm's that came in then I'm up for one for sure.

Just wish we could get a time line on when the slow boat will arrive..... :(

As long as I know they are on their way, that's good enough for me. John has relayed to us how complex and involved the importation process is, and with so many variables involved I can imagine how hard it is to predict an ETA. They will get here when they get here I guess, but before they do I want to learn more about the product that so when the time comes I can snatch one up ASAP.

I just want to know details! :D Like the price (approximate will do), whether they are single stack or double stack (a single stack 1911 in .40S&W would be COOL), number of mags, features, etc..

Is this information that you can provide us with John?

Ya, it looks just like the new police model 1911 by norinco that canada ammo is expecting soon as it has the grip serrations on the rear end of the slide as well as the serrations on the front end of the slide.

Seems to me that Norinco is merchandizing their 1911A1's now with a few extra features.

Note how similar the platforms are. Both have the oversize mag release, different site options and ambi safety.

CanAmmo is bringing in the Norinco "Police" in .45 ACP
Hard Chrome frame, Ambi-safety, Novak Copy sights (not an exact duplicate the site's sides are flat (not angled) to get around novak's patent, light skeletonized hammer, etc...

Marstar is bringing in the .40 S&W variant. Something similar to this I assume (available at DARK Int).

Interested.... but only if it's a single stack....

Personally, I'd only be interested in the .40 cal model if it's a single stack... ;)
