My friend has a Marstar scope mount (LP-MNT-914) on his Norinco M14. He was having issues every 4th round or so. The empty shell would bounce off the mount and back into the action resulting in a jam. The mount has taken a beating so its back to iron sights for now. Has this happened to anyone else or is this just his experience? I want a scope mount for my Norc when it arrives and I want to avoid problems.

I could not zero my scope with that mount. Piece of #### if you ask me.
Went with SEI instead.

I've got a deluxe (see-through-tactical-your-the-man-free-######-for-a-year) one and it's solid as a rock. However, I installed it with red loctite and tightened the living crap out of it with vise grips after I couldn't get it any tighter with hex keys, as I had heard that they come loose. Works fine for me, no wandering zero and no jams
