Satain, Why would you tell someone to recrown a barrel unless it actually needed it? If not properly done you might pooch the accuracy and then the OP would be pooched also.I know we are talking about a SKS here but really. If I had a small blemish at the muzzle of my Mosin sniper and you told me to Flitz it with a Dremel to make it look better, that is a nutz slap comment!

How the h e double hockey sticks do you get re-crown from polishing compound???

I guess that not every one has common sense other wis it would be so common to know that polishing and recrowning are 2 different things. Altough if you feel like because I am telling him how to make it look pristine well thatz just fine with me. Here is a link to this recrowning heavy duty compund:
