Ok, since the last one was locked due to the very SMALL but very VOCAL "I hate Marstar crowd", can I please be the first to point out that all the VZ58S people who are upset that their rifles are actually milsurp and not "new made" are also some of the same folks #####ing that the AIA rifles are "new made" and not milsurp?
Also, I notice the complaints are confined to Marstar, but not their competitors who ALSO sell USED rifles assembled from USED parts, and who also advertised them similarly???
So maybe certain folks here ought to just get over it and STFU
Unless, that is, they are willing to criticize equally and not cherry pick which dealers they complain about, no? FWIW, Marstar's ad copy was written before they even saw the guns. So was Wolverine's and Lever's - also filled with the same claims. Yet only one dealer is bashed.
And lastly, to the guy who said he got a pitted bore VZ58S - gotta call BS on that one. They have chrome lined bores. THEY DON'T RUST OR PIT. The few VZ58S's I've decosmo'd did have rusted iron filings in them though left over from when the full auto sear engagements were ground out by Igor the Czech armorer... wiped right out with a rag.
