Have a norinco with a marstar style navy front sight. The post is a little askew/crooked, but it shoots way off center, so i have to correct windage from the rear aperature. Is there any fix to this? I don't really want to try and bend the post, not sure if it will make a lot of difference. Any corrections I can do to set the rear sight to set it at "zero" without it being dialed over to shoot straight?

Also, if I were to order a new gas lock type sight that i could mount a new front sight from Smith, so I can drift the sight because it's dovetailed, would it fit on the norinco threading due to imperial/metric differences?

thanks all!

I would ensure the barrel is indexed properly before you throw too much $$ in parts at the rifle.....

First things first, as it were. First true up the rifle, then see if the sights need to be be repaired/replaced. You will find the the problem hasn't corrected itself no matter which sights or parts you throw on the rifle if the rifle is not "true".
