Marstar's import of Enfield stocks

No, statement by John say he is still waiting on approval for export permits, Greece is in a bit of a turmoil right now, because of their monetary problems.

tagged for interest....i might be in the market for a no1mkiii stock set soon, and all the hardware foreward of the rear sight :)

If you buy ebay parts it'll cost you 250 bucks more to rerstore your sportered enfield you bought for $125 :S

All I've seen are Indian made top guards, British beech top guards and butt stock. No forends which is the hardest to come up with. No mounting hardware either. Parts are getting very difficult to find. Ron

"any idea what kind of quantity is coming in? "

We have a round 10 40ft container loads coming....

Most will go to the US, with an adequate supply remaining in Canada....

Define "an adequate supply" for me please. It would be nice if this shipment would stay in Canada & sold retail with a whole bunch of import fees & permits required for US customers, then they might feel our pain for a while. Yes, I am bitter as the day is long about this particular issue.

i've got a Surrey No.4 MKI i've always wanted to desporterize but was under the impression that most "sporterized" models also had the barrel cut....anybody know the original length the barrel should be ?.....mine measures 31"...thx

Or post a pic of the front sight area; that will tell it all. If there's a portion of the barrel protruding in front of the sight about 1.5 inch, with its bayonet lugs, chances are it's intact.
