Marstar's M-305 scope mount

I got my Marstar deluxe tactical mount three days ago and installed it that night. It was a bit tough to install (no instructions didn't help...). The piece that fit into the stripper guide area on my rifle was very tight, but did go it, so no complaints. I set it all up and checked it was right (evenly aligned etc), then undid all the bolts and put them back in with red locktite, tightened it until I was afraid the bolts would break (as hard as I could with a slot screwdriver and allen key the nuts were made for, and then using vise grips on the large round heads for an extra 1/10 turn) and let the whole thing sit for two days. I hit the range today and that thing is rock solid. I think I could jump on it and it wouldn't move. I've got no complaints about the mount. I'm hunting for another M14S and I'll put another one of those same mounts on it.
 
I read in an earlier post that somebody had concerns with these mounts not allowing proper ejection, but I shot for an hour straight and had no problems at all and all my brass were in a little circle about a foot and a half across. I also checked the bottom of the mount to see if brass were damaging it and i found no evidence that the brass was even touching it. Again, no complaints at all.

Yes, I think getting some synthetic stocks for these rifles should be waaayy up there on the list of things to do. I'm hunting for a couple myself. Not those bizarre (no offence to anyone) metal things with seven rails (in case you want a mustard dispenser on the side of your rifle) that look like they came from star trek and that my skin will freeze to at -40, but just some decent synthetic stocks to replace the lumber on the Norincos. I can't believe how hard it is to find some plain jane synthetic stocks for the M14 in Canada.
