Marstar's M305 Socom threads?

Hi,

I'm wondering what kinda threads Marstar's M305 Socom uses. I've been thinking of getting a new flash hider, but if it's the original M14 threads... I'd be severely limited in my choices...

I have one of the DA Socom 18s and the threads are .595-32 - I'd be surprised if the Marstar model were different. This is the same thread pattern as a standard M14 so things like the Smith Enterprises DC flash suppressors will work.

I'd be pleasantly surprised if it is; I would be able to use a Surefire Warcomp if that's the case

I would think it would be metric,your measurements converted would be M15x1.25.

Except the rifles were specifically advertised as having that particular thread pattern.

Matador manufactures a Hammerhead flash hider specifically for the M305...I have one on my M305 Socom and it fits and looks great.

Marstar didn't have it listed on their product page, but they got back to me. That's metric for .595-32, right?

The thread for the M305B is M15 x 0.75.
