Marstars Semi 1919 30 cal Browning

Klunk

the isrealies had a 308 barrel bushing (thing that screws on the barrel jacket at the muzzel) with a pressed in bushing I opened it up to 3/4 inch hole so more gas can escape = less recoil on the gun which stopped the top cover from popping when i was useing a 30.06 bushing with 8x63 ammo the top cover was poping all the time

Links work very well in my gun in .308 or 30.06 but NOT 8mm mauser or 8x63 too tight I think for those

onebarfly is that a mini 1919???:):50cal:

Yeah - I guess that I make it look small. Note to self: Get on the treadmill:redface:

Here's what it looks like with a normal sized person at the helm

Would you believe that this is a 20" Barrel on the AR? ;):p

Too bad your gubmint is so picky. The Local gun store just got in a semi auto M2 Browning. The buyer backed out, so its up for grabs. I just can't see paying over $2.00 a round, and thats the cheapest stuff!;)
(plus shipping)

It is brand new with the tripod.

Our gubmint isn't so picky we can't have M2 semis. There are a few in Canada and more COULD come in, if YOUR state department would allow them to be exported (They won't).

John Sukey:
Claven's right....it isn't our government who is so picky, it's yours!!
Once Hillery gets in, and that new assault rifle bill gets tweaked up a bit further, your bayonet lugged, magazine fed, barrel heat shrouded (handguarded) Enfields will be a thing of the past.

FOR A CHAMBER REAMER?

hOLY fUNK
Are they really that much?....suddenly its not such a good deal

There are still good deals to be had, even at these prices. Off the EE I just bought 1200+ rounds of 8mm on belts and a brand new Clymer 7.92X63 reamer for $350. Thats cheaper than you would get the same amount of 7.62 for, and I will get to sell off the 5 belts when I am done, so that is another $100 off.

I am hoping to adapt a Garand over to this ammunition, as soon as I can find a shot out M1.

Hi Rob - saw the Marstar 1919 this weekend at the EOHC shoot. It was firing single shot for the first 5 or 6 rounds but after changing the extractor 3 times and then lubricating the bolt the gun put the next 740 rounds down range without a single stoppage. All fired as fast as the person shooting could pull the trigger of course.
Can't say anything about long term use but the demo was awesome.

I suspect the functioning had a LOT less to do with the extractors Frank put in than it did the fact that he FINALLY decided to lube the BONE DRY bolt.

Anyone who EVER fired the C5 (a 1919 clone) knows they tend to not run well unless the bolts are dripping wet with oil.

The rivets which hold my sight base on have worked loose, but who stops shooting long enough to use the sights? I use the sights to get on target, and after that just watch the dust cloud, moving it over to whatever target I want to hit.

As received, the guns usually have some bugs to be worked out, but once those have been solved, it's one of the coolest guns available to the shooter in Canada today. Non restricted, and those 250 round belts can't be beat.

I thought you were limited to a 5 round belt legally?.
