The main thing is that you got your 15s up and running again. I'm pretty sure it was Martini 15's that the West Vancouver Rifle Club had for us to learn on back in the '60s. I wonder whatever happened to them...

Hart House Rifle/Revolver Club, part of University of Toronto, also had a couple Model 15s. The range was shut down by the University maybe 6 years ago.

I have one... (at least that's what I was told)

Walked into a gun store for something small, and it was sitting there half hidden in the rack. You guys really don't want to know what (little) I paid for a complete 15.

Why are some old scopes so long? (That goes for the old brass scopes on falling block Sharps as well)

Quick answer being that the technology wasn't there for the lenses and internal adjustments that we have today.
