Martini Cadet in 222rem

I was on another site and found an interesting martini in 222rem,I called the fellow and it was as he advertized with 222rem .I purchased it and took it apart .The xtractor appears to be the Snapp style .Here are some pics,oil smug on the receiver

It came with weaver and I replace the scope base and did some touch up ,it shoots great and spits out the rimless case

Very cool, nice find. I've seen Cadets chambered for Hornet based cartridges, but never for rimless, or for a cartridge as large as a triple duece.

Beauty. I built a lightweight in .22K Hornet, using a new old stock .222 Sako barrel. It's one of my favourites, with a slim schnable fore-end, barrel band and the stock BSA tang sight. Even though it's a modern .224" bore, it shoots .023" bullets noticeably better than the .224s.
