Martini Greener

I have a martini greener gp shotgun in 12 gauge. It’s a great gun and very fun to shoot. How ever last time I had it out the safety lever seemed to over rotate causing the safety to not work and just flop around. I am not completely sure what happened as my brother was giving it a try when this problem occurred.
I am not an expert on these, I own it because I like martini Henry rifles but don’t want the hassle of reloading that calibure.
I am hoping some one here can provide insight into how to fix this problem or if there is anyone in the London area that knows these things well to get it fixed.
Any help is always appreciated.

There is a safety detent plunger and spring that operate the safety so one of those might be broken.There is a screw that retains the safety ,take the safety out and have a look

I don't seem to have either a spring or plunger! I am guessing they fell out in the field. I will have to source a replacement part. If anyone knows a good place it would be appreciated.

Did you check the cavity the holds the spring and plunger they could be seized inside

I will try soon to take the whole receiver apart and see if those pieces are still in there.

I own it because I like martini Henry rifles but don’t want the hassle of reloading that caliber.

It's the reason I'm trying to find one, do they crop up often? I've seen 22 rimfires but would prefer something with a bit more bite.
