If it's a Mk.1 in shootable condition and hasn't been touched...$1,500.00 to $2,000.00, a Mk.2 in similar condition would be similarly priced. There are many more Mk.3's around and some marked to Canadian units. These 3's would be in the $800.00 to 1,200.00 depending on condition. Mk.4's (long levers) are not as desireable for many reasons and are usually $400.00 to $600.00 as long as they haven't been cut or refinished. If it's one of the Khyber or Nepalese rifles...buyer beware. An opinion, Dave......by the way, if they can be traced to the Zulu uprising in Africa prices can be higher. Mk.4's were never issued in Canada and I believe also never used in the Zulu rebellion either.

Brass is available from "Magtech" for $20.00 for 25 pieces. It is 24 guage brass which fits just fine. It needs to be trimmed to length is all. Round ball moulds are cheap from Lee.... get .590 size. Dies $100.00 from Lee. Don't worry about any of this until you get the rifle!
Are you confusing the Snider round with the Martini-Henry round? Wouldn't you need a case forming die to use 24g brass in a Martini Henry?
to use 24 gauge in the Martini you will need a form die the 577-450 is a bottle neck you can use 24 gauge in the 577 Snider easily by shortening and anealing the neck . You can buy formed brass from Kerry Jenkinson in BC PH#250-442-5718

I load for the Martini, Williams Arms has Jamison brass, Call them Might be a few $2 - 4 ea. You could go the 24 Ga method, but you should buy 2 boxes of brass as I can guarantee there will be a few in the scrap bin.
What Mk was the Martini? You will need to know as the bore dia will be different between the Mk IV and the MK I, II, III.
Do you know how to form brass for the martini? Are you shooting black powder or nitro? How many cases did you want?

Yes, my mistake. I was thinking of the Snider as I have been posting on two threads. The 24 guage has to be formed and I think it is quite a job. Let me know if I can help. I have dies, moulds, wads, lube etc. as I shoot mine regularly. Dave
