Martini Henry loading gear

Bomb, Lee Factory Sales which is a private company down the road from the actual Lee Factory in Hartford Wisconsin is where you will find the cheapest prices on any Lee gear. They only sell Lee and they stock the full line. Shipping to Ontario has been 4-7 days for me. Most stuff 0s 30-50% cheaper than other Lee dealers. If you want a $40 item it might not be worth it, but if your order is well over $100 it will be cheaper than any other Lee source.

I ordered my loading gear from Lee Factory Sales today. The owner is very helpfull.

Looking for a MH large action myself and already have a Model 12 BSA Martini action 22lr target rifle. Massively big fun to shoot and is nearly a tack driver. I am about to load cast in my 38-55 and suggest as already mentioned here to slug the bore. Only then will you know for sure. Also suggest you might go the route I have to secure sized cast from a local manuf. OMA here in BC uses virgin lead and will size lead to your barrel and lube it. Going from my purchase of 250 sized and lubed bullets for around $38. Fortunately the 38-55 is easy to get brass for. The MH is another story. Sounding like an expensive thing to do but then I save so much on my other loading it would offset. To be shooting something that old is massive fun. My 1894 38-55 was made in 1900 so getting closer... Great read by the way.
